Thanks to grants from Cadw and the Pilgrim Trust Nantgarw China Works Trust have commissioned a Conservation Management Plan and structural survey to identify the relative age and use of the various buildings on site and to determine the priorities for conservation. The survey will also look at possibilities of restoration and/or repurposing some parts of the site.

The Conservation Management Plan is being put together by a team led by Dr Peter Wakelin and will be complete by the end of March.

It is hoped that over the next few years more substantial funding can be raised to implement the conservation of this exceptionally significant site.
